Additional Information:

- Providing optimal performance for future releases, the following operating system versions are required: Windows 10 (version 1703 or higher) or macOS 10.12 (or higher). This includes the following products: Adobe Media Encoder CC 2019, Adobe After Effects CC 2019, Audition CC 2019, Character Animator CC 2019, Prelude CC 2019, and Premiere Pro CC 2019.
Performance and stability are top priorities for all our users. Running our applications on current versions of the Mac and Windows operating systems helps ensure an optimal experience with our tools.
Microsoft discontinued support for basic Windows 8.1 in January 2018. Primary support for Windows 7 support ended in 2015.
Apple announced macOS 10.14 (Mojave) in the fall of 2018 - and we will continue our policy of supporting the latest three versions of MacOS.
In addition to updating the operating system, the performance of video applications depends on the processor (CPU), available memory (RAM), disk subsystem (HDD / SSD) and graphics processor (GPU).
- Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 and After Effects CC 2019 will receive the product designation (logo) of the Netflix Post Technology Alliance, since they have joined this alliance. The Post Technology Alliance logo signals that the product meets and will meet Netflix high specifications and delivery specifications.
- Added native support for a number of formats: Arri Alexa LF (Large Format), Sony Venice v2, and HEIF (HEIC) (from iPhone 8 and iPhone X smartphones).
- Improved visibility for QuickTime 32 files makes it easier to identify obsolete media in our projects.
- Improved work with VR content, added support for spatial markers (Spatial Markers) to mark a specific point in the space that needs to be changed or replaced. This is a pretty good feature that can be useful in regular video. Also added mode: Theater Mode.
Added support for 180 VR, including export to Google VR180 format for the YouTube platform.
- New command: Edit> Consolidate Duplicates, it will help clear the project from duplicates.
- In Adobe Stock updated search filters. You can now filter Adobe Stock resources based on frames per second and the duration of the footage. Thus, it is possible to detail the results that really correspond to what we were looking for. You can also find Motion Graphic Templates in Adobe Stock directly in the Essential Graphics panel.
- Improved performance and final rendering. Adobe has implemented hardware decoding and encoding video formats: H.264 and HEVC. Improved image processing provides more responsive timeline playback. This will also affect the best performance of the Lumetri Color.
The hardware support has been expanded, and before that the algorithms were set up.
- Video clips now have the same backlight design as audio clips so that we can see the color of the label when they are selected. Improved readability of clips in the form of icons in the cell.
- In the Lumetri Color panel there are new Hue Saturation Curves curves: Hue vs Sat, Hue vs Hue, Hue vs Luma, Luma vs Sat and Sat vs Sat. They can be found in other programs to work with color. These curves are a great addition for several reasons. They are very useful, and a full set of saturation curves is great for fast color correction. Most of the competitors of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 already have their own full set of curves, and they were especially lacking in the Lumetri Color Engine.
We use these tools to balance the tonal range, or to increase or decrease certain colors.
Using the curve Luma vs Sat, you can get rid of the color shade in a certain range of brightness.
If we have too similar colors, then using Hue vs Hue, change one of the color ranges.
Old tool Hue Saturation Curves removed from Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019.
- Improved Lumetri work management. Previously, we had to apply several copies of Lumetri to the clip for more advanced color correction, and this was a more cumbersome process, because we had to apply the effect from the Effects panel each time. That now has a pop-up window at the top of the Lumetri panel for adding and managing multiple instances of the Lumetri effect right from the panel.
- Improved workflow in Team Projects. A small update for team projects speeds up the invitation process. Now you can group your employees for greater efficiency. For example, you can invite the entire editing department at the touch of a button!
- Data driven infographics. You can add data from tables for your motion graphics templates, which saves time. You can drag a spreadsheet file and make a circle between the rows of the database. This feature requires that the template be prepared in After Effects. Spreadsheet updates (CSV) are automatically reflected in the graph.
It can also be used to create multiple variations of a pattern by switching between rows, including changing colors based on hexadecimal color values.
- In the settings Edit> Preferences> General a new option has been added: Enable Display Color Management (requires GPU acceleration). It is disabled by default, and is designed to work with a wide color gamut of displays, such as, for example, the Apple iMac Pro. This display color management profile works only with connected monitors (and not when exporting material, etc.); it automatically adjusts the color space for various displays, including P3, rec709 and rec2020 displays.
- Intellectual cleaning sound. Improved Reduce Noise tool and added new Reduce Reverb tool in Essential Sound panel:
- Vector Motion in the Effects Controls panel. When working with a new tool, it is possible to scale and move using the Essential Graphics panel to keep a clear Type. Now it became possible to do it in the Effect Controls panel.

- Optimized workflows for Motion Graphics: responsive design, simplified template development, now you can easily change font settings without editing a template.
- Added and changed effect settings: VR Projection (VR Projection).
